December and New Years Eve

December brought more AXIS fun, including an AMD/AXIS event at the Museum of Discovery. Luke and many of his coworkers got involved to provide Virtual Reality. It was a great time with over 300 people come through the event:

The kids got to visit with Santa

Another mom/daughter day going to see the Nutcracker with friends:

A family gingerbread house building craft. Our gingerbread house didn't hold up too well, but still tasted good.

We spent a week in Belize! Our neighbor watched Luigi for us, but he was so happy to finally be reunited with his family:

A day at the Denver Museum of Science and History
After the museum, we visited Casa Bonita. The kids were blown away by the restaurant, the lights, the divers, the gorilla. It was an experience!
We had friends over to celebrate New Years Eve with us. A great time!

November

November fun included some chilly outdoor hikes:

An escape room with friends:

A decent snow:

Josie and Charlotte at Fanny's preschool
Mom and daughter date night to see a musician
 Sunday Pokemon tournaments
 Luigi getting festive
Luke and Jack at the 21 Pilots Concert

 Luke's new VR toy
 Thanksgiving with friends:

 Luke and Jack ski days:
 More taekwando fun
The kids official school year pictures.

And a very sad reminder to enjoy our friends - a friend of ours passed away suddenly from a brain hemorage and her memorial service reunited us with many people we had lost touch with.

October

October brought much excitement!! Including the day we received news that our school was approved!!

We also celebrated Lily & Josie's birthdays with a joint birthday party. It started with dessert nutella pizza.

Then we drove to Red Rocks. It was a very chilly afternoon, but the excitement carried us through.
The girls were ready for the Kidz Bop performance
 So exciting!
We had a great time! I have never been around so many screaming girls in my life!
Luke and Jack continued their Colorado Youth Outdoors program. Jack's favorite part of the program was archery.

Jack had a Halloween themed piano performance

We celebrated another Halloween with the neighbors by bringing our firepit out front

Lily brought us great laughter with her drawings:

September

September brought our annual Labor Day camping trip. This year we went to Basecamp in Golden Colorado. We had a cabin this time and I will never go back to tent camping... the cabin was so nice. It was a great time with friends:

There was even a rec center across the street and the kids spent an afternoon swimming.

We had so much fun, there were sad faces when we had to leave:

Not long before everyone fell asleep on the drive home

In September, Luke also completed the Black Squirrel half marathon

I was learning to juggle trying to work from home, especially when the kids were home. One day I had an important phone call with the finance director at the state, Josie was suspiciously quiet, and then came down in the middle of the phone call covered in makeup! I couldn't help but laugh!

Luigi loves sleeping in Jack's bed

Josie started Taekwando lessons in September
Jack still loves taekwando

I went out for a girls night to celebrate Fanny (our nanny's) birthday
