Once school was out, the race to get AXIS ready for fall was on! June was a busy month and the kids started full time summer camps so I could work.

We participated in a fun run raising money for a friend of ours who had stomach cancer
At some point we found a tick in Lily's hair that had been there since the overnight camping trip in May!
And the transformation from GVA to CEC/AXIS happened!
The classrooms were gutted and repainted
GVA left most of their furniture behind. It was an incredible amount of work to move it out of all the classrooms
Father's day 5K where Papi, Luke, Jack and Lily all ran the entire race
Afterwards we headed up to Pinewood Reservoir
Jack celebrated a birthday
And finally got a smash cake of his own!
Nights and weekends (after summer camp) the kids joined me at the school whenever possible to help out:
Marketing and brewery nights with the CEC Team
Jenny's birthday poker party!
