Josie turns one and other September happenings

Our sweet little one just celebrated her first birthday. She has been such a delight and has brought so much joy into this last year. Here she is with her birthday hat:

We just had a small celebration with my parents.

We had brownies and ice cream for her dessert. She was not happy about having to wait to eat her ice cream.

Lily made Josie a little present. She drew a pictures and then taped some of her own toys onto it.

We still had a ton of baby toys leftover from Lily so we rewrapped a few and let Josie open them

She even got a "new" car

 Look familiar....

Another fun toy

The week before Josie's birthday we went to the 1st Annual Ft. Collins Comic con. The kids had fun for a while. They got their faces painted and played around. The newspaper was there taking pictures and the reporter took this picture of Jack that was in the paper
Lily got a rainbow spiderman on her face

Luke even got his face painted as "two-face"
 More of rainbow spider-girl
They had all sorts of classes at the comic con and we took the kids to one class on light saber fighting. When the class was over, the kids got to practice their light saber skills

In other news, Jack lost his other front tooth
Josie got a dragon costume for Halloween
And Josie's has become quite the trash digger. Her favorite thing to do is to sneak over to where we keep our recycling and dig out the old beer and soda cans. She loves to drink the last sips *yuck!* I constantly have to barricade the hallway so she can't sneak over there:
