More June fun

Summer is always busy! So much fun to be had, and good weather to be enjoyed. 

One day we met up with friends at a park and flew kites

Another day we went to a neighbors birthday party where the kids got to be puppies.

Another day we had friends over for backyard fun, including a slip-n-slide

And water balloons on the trampoline

The kids have been scootering all over the neighborhood

One night we were invited to a party at the City Park pool.

And we were also invited to a backyard VBS program, it was a week of backyard fun

At the end of the week we visited the church that hosted the VBS groups and there was a big party with bounce houses, ice cream and other fun

When we are at home, Josie is still constantly getting into trouble. She loves markers, especially sharpies


One weekend we got to babysit the neighbors dog. She slept in Jack's room and the kids loved walking her everyday

One weekend Luke took us up to Gateway Park for a hike. The goal was to make it to a jumping rock, but it was much more difficult than anticipated. We made it far enough to find the reservoir:

Jack even caught a fish!

The long summer days are exhausting so sometimes the girls nap together
