Waterworld, county fair and more...

Before summer vacation was over, we were able to squeeze in a few more fun outings.

One day we went to Waterworld to celebrate Jack's best buddy's birthday

Here is the card that he made his friend

I organized a Neighborhood Night Out for our neighborhood. We were given some grant money by the city to pay for food and we had a great turnout of neighbors:

I entered a drawing for a river tube, and I won! So we went to Odell's brewery to pick it up. While we were there the kids got to ride on an elephant

One weekend my aunt and uncle came out for a visit. The boys were camping so the girls and I met up with them at Paddlers Pub to hang out:

The next day we met up with them again at the Gnarly Barley Brew fest and county fair. There was a short thunderstorm that rolled in and we all had to take cover:

After the brew fest, I took the girls on some rides. Josie was sad that she wasn't tall enough for most of the rides...

But we were still able to find a few to go on:

The weekend was so exhausting that Josie fell asleep while shopping at Costco

The next day, the boys got home from camping and we all went to the rodeo

The kids were thoroughly entertained

Right before school started we were able to meet up with Lily's best friend again. It had been over a month since they last saw each other

One rainy afternoon we made up a laser maze in the living room
