Summer is finally here and we couldn't be more excited. School starts in mid-August which leaves us with only 2 months to have as much fun as possible. And we have been ready for that challenge.
Lily and I were able to participate in the kids fun run series. Lily ran the whole mile, passing 9 & 10 year olds. She finished in under 10 minutes.
After the fun run we met up with Luke and Jack at the fishing derby

One of our goals this summer is to stay away from the TV. The kids have found plenty of other things to keep them occupied. One of their favorite things to do right now is to play with these pearler beads
Track is keeping us busy as well. The kids still complain about going to track, but I love it! It is an hour and fifteen minutes of running for them.
The splash playground is on at the park by our house and the kids love it! The first time we went, Josie wouldn't even touch the water. But by the second time, she had no hesitation.
