Halloween Activities

We went to a few Halloween activities that the kids enjoyed. The favorite (even more than the candy) was the horse ride.

The kids also spent and afternoon making a mess with their pumpkins, and then cleaning everything up.
One night we went to a local farm for a Halloween festival.
They had tons of booths set up and painted like doors. You would knock on the "door" and someone in costume would open it and give you candy.
It was really fun!
And such a neat idea.

Jack's school also had a Halloween party and costume parade
Notice the blonde girl on the right. This is Jack's "crush." I thought 6 was too young for this sort of thing, but apparently it isn't. More about that to come...

After the school party, we headed to Lukes work for more trek or treating
All the cubicles had candy to hand out to the kids. Here they are in Luke's cube
We spent hours going to 100's of cubes and getting too much candy. They also had a pretty neat haunted house
By the time we got home that night the kids were almost too tired to go trick or treating around our neighborhood. We set up the skeleton and candy again at our house and Luke took the kids up and down the street to knock on doors.
Then, later that night when they were sleeping we had to "inspect" all the candy
